Though I’ve never heard it mentioned that they can appear on television 

I’ve had a Swedish lover and I know a Finn or two

But I can’t seem to forget these things as easily as others do

Yet when I woke this morning I found my mind had gone a blank

Emerging from a dream of her I knew I just had to thank

The woman who appears on Danish Television

She came into my living room, it was the briefest of flirtations

I was sitting on the sofa, flicking through the stations

And though I didn’t understand a single word she said to me

I knew that in that moment, for it was plain for all to see 

That she and she alone was now my one and only calling

For I had fallen, yes, completely fallen
