Talking In Tongues
The best way to learn a language
Is from a lover’s lips
From the sweat upon their body
To the movement of their hips
From new words for toast and honey
As you start the day together
To blank incomprehension
At the changing of the weather
So excuse my limited vocabulary
I guess it’s down to first date nerves
Or else my pre-occupation
