Looking Down On Other Dogs

Cosmos is finally up in The Heavens

But recently Charlie’s been coming to stay

So both look down on other dogs

Each in his own way

Charlie sits on the back of the sofa

Or else rests on his spot in the hall

Thinking that those he looks down on from up here

Are not like his neighbours in Uccle at all

One of his two-legs has been letting him down

So he’s tail-waggingly happy to see me

A change is as good as a rest they say

And for a Corgi, Rue du PR is a pretty good place to be
