The Next Time Round
Tomorrow as you watch the annual pyrotechnic dance
Before heading home to party give the heavens one last glance
As you link arms with strangers and sing the Scottish song
Look upon the year to come and not the one that’s gone
Let its four hooded horsemen vanish in the night
And see in that one moment all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Keep one eye on Orion, though you won’t see Scorpio
And if you’ve no time for astronomy then just go with the flow
Raise your eyes up to the skies and feel new hope abound
And hold on to this spinning rock until the next time round

The Next Time Round is as good as the first, but the second affords one a further chance of redemption .....great insight Peter....Bravo!
Good words for the new year, Peter!
